Mauldin Mavericks (Mauldin, SC) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Westside Rams (Anderson, SC), 17-0 in a non-league battle.

The Mavericks now own a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they host Hillcrest for a 5A Upper District 1 battle on Wednesday, April 10. Mauldin will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 24-3 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, SC). The Rams record now stands at 1-11.

In their next game, the Rams clash with the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a 4A battle, on Tuesday, April 9. Westside will attempt to advance on its 0-12 season record. The Fighting Green Hornets come into the battle with a 7-8 record after their 8-6 league loss to Bluffton (Bluffton, SC).
