The crowd at Monday's league test between the Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL) and the host New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL), saw Long's soccer squad knock off New Brockton by a count of 2-0.

The Rebels now hold a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Christian for a 1A-3A Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 9. Long will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Carroll (Ozark, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, New Brockton drops to 3-8 on the season. The Gamecocks host Houston Academy (Dothan, AL) to meet the Raiders in a 1A-3A Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 9. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 10-4. Houston Academy lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Saint James (Montgomery, AL)
