The Dixon Bulldogs baseball team (Holly Ridge, NC), was overwhelmed 12-8 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC)

The Bears now hold a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jacksonville for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 10. New Bern will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-6.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 9. Dixon will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Pirates go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 10-0 league win over White Oak (Jacksonville, NC).
