South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Watauga for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. South Caldwell will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Hibriten falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC) to face the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 3-4.
