The Isle of Wight Academy Chargers softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Windsor Dukes to 5 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Isle of Wight Academy moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Chargers host Southampton (Courtland, VA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 16. The Indians come into the game with a record of 0-1. Southampton lost 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Windsor (Windsor, VA)

In their next game, the Dukes clash with the Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 22. Windsor will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
