Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) followers exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI), 13-12 in a league battle.

The Mounties now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Kingstown for a Division 1 (State) battle on Friday, April 12. Mount St. Charles Academy will clash with a Skippers squad coming off a 14-5 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Skippers record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) in a Division 1 (State) battle, on Friday, April 12. Portsmouth will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Avengers come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 20-12 league loss to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI).
