Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT), 18-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Haven for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10.

With the loss, Hamden falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Green dragons host Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT) to face the Trojans in a Southern Connecticut - Oronoque challenge on Friday, April 12. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
