The Larkin Royals softball team scored 25 runs and limited the host Aurora East Tomcats to 1 in the Royals league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Larkin improves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Royals travel to West Chicago (West Chicago, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a Upstate Eight battle on Tuesday, April 9. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 3-0. West Chicago won 11-1 in their recent league battle against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL)

The Tomcats now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fenton for a Upstate Eight battle on Tuesday, April 9. Aurora East will meet a Bison squad coming off a 22-4 league win over Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Bison record now stands at 4-3.
