Alabama High School Softball - Austin gets by Sparkman

Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) and the visiting Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL), witnessed Austin's softball squad tip Sparkman by a count of 5-4.

The Black Bears now sport a 28-12 record. They play next when they host Bob Jones for a 7A Area 8 match on Thursday, April 11.

With the loss, Sparkman moves to 10-14 on the season. The Senators host Albertville (Albertville, AL) to face the Aggies in a 7A Area 7 match on Tuesday, April 9. The Aggies go into the match with a record of 2-15.
