Pennsylvania High School Softball - Hempfield Area bounces Baldwin

The Hempfield Area Spartans routed the host Baldwin Highlanders softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Monday's league battle.

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA). The Raiders go into the WPIAL 6A 1 battle with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, Seneca Valley toppled Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA), 8-0, in a league bout.

The Highlanders now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Canon-McMillan for a WPIAL 6A 1 bout on Wednesday, April 10. Baldwin will confront a Big Macs squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Butler (Butler, PA). The Big Macs record now stands at 2-3.
