Elizabeth Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Belle Vernon Leopards (Belle Vernon, PA), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albert Gallatin for a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge on Wednesday, April 10. Elizabeth Forward will face a Colonials squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA). The Colonials record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Belle Vernon falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Leopards host Ringgold (Monongahela, PA) to face the Rams in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Ringgold lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA)
