Florida High School Softball - Family Christian Academy topped by Booker

In Monday's non-league contest, the Booker Tornadoes (Sarasota, FL) softball team overwhelmed the host Family Christian Academy Mustangs (Port Charlotte, FL), by a margin of 22-9.

With the triumph, Booker moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL) to play the Gladiators in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 11. The Gladiators come into the contest with a record of 1-10. Gibbs lost 29-14 in their recent non-league contest against Bayshore (Bradenton, FL)

In their next game, the Mustangs play the DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL) in a 4A District 11 contest, on Thursday, April 11. Family Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 9-6 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Oasis (Cape Coral, FL).
