Arizona High School Softball - Pinnacle gets by Boulder Creek

The Pinnacle Pioneers got by the host Boulder Creek Jaguars softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Monday's league battle.

The Pioneers (18-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Mountain Lions go into the 6A Desert Valley battle with a 12-11 record. In their last battle, Mountain Ridge was edged by O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ), 10-0, in a league battle.

The Jaguars now sport a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sunnyslope for a 6A Desert Valley battle on Wednesday, April 10. Boulder Creek will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 9-5 league win over Liberty (Peoria, AZ). The Vikings record now stands at 7-8.
