The Castleberry Lions softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Springtown Porcupines to 7 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Castleberry moves its record to 15-10 on the year. The Lions host Decatur (Decatur, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 8 game on Friday, April 12. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 7-16.

In their next game, the Porcupines clash with the Lake Worth Bullfrogs (Lake Worth, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 game, on Friday, April 12. Springtown will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Bullfrogs come into the game with a 9-16 record after their 19-2 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX).
