University Titans (Spokane, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Titans now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Central for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Tuesday, April 9. University will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 15-2 league loss to Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Cheney falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA) to face the Bears in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Central Valley lost 22-9 in their recent league challenge against Mead (Spokane, WA)
