Diamond Wildcats (Diamond, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lamar Tigers (Lamar, MO), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 20-0 record. They take the field next when they host Miller for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Diamond will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Southwest (Washburn, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Lamar falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Purdy (Purdy, MO) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 6-6.
