Diman RVT Bengals (Fall River, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fairhaven Blue Devils (Fairhaven, MA), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Bengals now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Blue Hills RVT for a Mayflower - Large challenge on Tuesday, April 9.
With the loss, Fairhaven falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Old Rochester Regional (Mattapoisett, MA) to battle the Bulldogs in a South Coast challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
