King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Fremont Pathfinders (Los Angeles, CA), 15-5 in a league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Salle for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10. King/Drew will face a Lancers squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Fremont falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Pathfinders host Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA) to face the Monarchs in a Coliseum challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Monarchs enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. Harbor Teacher won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Locke (Los Angeles, CA)
