Jemison Panthers (Jemison, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Isabella Mustangs (Maplesville, AL), 13-12 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sylacauga for a 5A Area 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Jemison will battle a Aggies squad coming off a 9-5 league loss to Shelby County (Columbiana, AL). The Aggies record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Isabella falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL) to battle the Wolves in a 2A Area 6 challenge on Monday, April 15. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 8-8.
