The Pike County Central Hawks softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Knott County Central Patriots to 3 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Pike County Central improves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Hawks host Floyd Central (Eastern, KY) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 9. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 4-2. Floyd Central won 12-1 in their recent non-league game against Phelps (Phelps, KY)

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 13. Knott County Central will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record.
