The Lockport Porters softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Lincoln-Way West Warriors to 5 in the Porters league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Lockport improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Porters host Andrew (Tinley Park, IL) to clash with the Thunderbolts in a SouthWest Suburban game on Tuesday, April 9. The Thunderbolts come into the game with a record of 11-1. Andrew won 20-1 in their recent league game against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban game, on Tuesday, April 9. Lincoln-Way West will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 9-1 record after their 16-0 league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL).
