The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL) and the host Mae Jemison Jaguars (Huntsville, AL), saw St. John Paul II's softball squad nip Mae Jemison by a count of 9-6.

The Falcons now sport a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Priceville for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 9.

With the loss, Mae Jemison falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Athens (Athens, AL) to face the Golden Eagles in a 6A Area 16 match on Tuesday, April 9. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 14-5. Athens won 16-1 in their recent league match against Columbia (Huntsville, AL)
