The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Maplesville Red Devils (Maplesville, AL) and the host Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL), saw Maplesville's softball squad nip Thorsby by a count of 7-3.

The Red Devils now sport a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jemison for a non-league match on Thursday, April 18.

With the loss, Thorsby falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Rebels host Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL) to face the Wolves in a 2A Area 6 match on Tuesday, April 9. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 8-8. Fayetteville won 15-14 in their recent non-league match against Reeltown (Notasulga, AL)
