Pennsylvania High School Softball - Palmerton edged by Northwestern Lehigh

In Monday's league outing, the visiting Northwestern Lehigh Tigers softball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Palmerton Blue Bombers.

Coming up next, the Tigers battle the Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 9. Northwestern Lehigh will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Slaters enter the outing with a 0-4 record after their 17-12 league loss to Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA).

The Blue Bombers (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Spartans enter the Colonial - West outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Southern Lehigh was tipped by Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA), 6-2, in a league outing.
