Prairie du Chien Blackhawks (Prairie du Chien, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Onalaska Hilltoppers (Onalaska, WI), 11-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Blackhawks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Platteville for a SWC challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Prairie du Chien will battle a Hillmen squad coming off a 26-11 non-league win over Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI). The Hillmen record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Onalaska falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to La Crosse Central (La Crosse, WI) to battle the Riverhawks in a Mississippi Valley challenge on Friday, April 12. The Riverhawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-3.
