The Pike County Bulldogs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Samson Tigers to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Pike County improves its record to 6-11 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to New Brockton (New Brockton, AL) to clash with the Gamecocks in a 3A Area 3 game on Tuesday, April 9. The Gamecocks come into the game with a record of 2-12. New Brockton lost 12-2 in their recent league game against Straughn (Andalusia, AL)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 13. Samson will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record.
