Texas High School Baseball - Anson loses to Albany

Albany Lions (Albany, TX) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad gain a win over the visiting Anson Tigers (Anson, TX), 6-2 in a league battle.

The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Stamford (Stamford, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Region I District 8 battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Stamford held off Hawley (Hawley, TX), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX) in a 2A Region I District 8 battle, on Friday, April 11. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 11-4 league win over Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene (Abilene, TX).
