Kansas High School Baseball - Valley Center defeats Andover

April 8, 2025: Valley Center, KS 67147

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS) and the visiting Andover Trojans (Andover, KS), saw Valley Center's baseball team gain a win over Andover by a tally of 8-2.

The Hornets (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS). The Salthawks enter the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Hutchinson held off Derby (Derby, KS), 7-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Trojans face the Circle Thunderbirds (Towanda, KS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 10. Andover will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Rose Hill (Rose Hill, KS).
