Minnesota High School Baseball - Belle Plaine defeats Waseca

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Belle Plaine Tigers (Belle Plaine, MN) and the host Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN), saw Belle Plaine's baseball team gain a win over Waseca by a tally of 7-1.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN). The Titans enter the Minnesota River battle with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] was overwhelmed by St. Peter (St. Peter, MN), 11-5, in a non-league contest.

The Bluejays now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Ulm for a South Central contest on Thursday, April 10. Waseca will face a Eagles team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
