The Carroll County Cavaliers baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Glenvar Highlanders to 1 in the Cavaliers league win on Tuesday.

The Cavaliers now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host James River for a Three Rivers test on Friday, April 11. Carroll County will play a Knights team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Knights record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Glenvar drops to 0-6 on the year. The Highlanders host Salem (Salem, VA) to play the Spartans in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 9. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 5-0. Salem won 9-6 in their recent league test against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA)
