The Middleton Tigers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host Clarksburg Rockets to 1 in the Tigers league win on Tuesday.

The Tigers now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Walnut for a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. Middleton will play a Wildcats team coming off a 17-5 league loss to Hatley (Amory, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-10.

With the defeat, Clarksburg drops to 4-9 on the year. The Rockets host Greenfield (Greenfield, TN) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 11-3. Greenfield won 3-2 in their recent league test against Dresden (Dresden, TN)
