The Garrison Troopers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Surrey Mustangs to 2 in the Troopers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Troopers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host South Prairie/Max for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Garrison will clash with a team coming off a 19-0 league loss to Velva/Drake/Anamoose (Velva, ND). The record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Surrey drops to 0-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Rugby (Rugby, ND) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
