The Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) baseball trounced the visiting West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), 18-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Titans now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palisades for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 9. Hopewell will clash with a Pumas team coming off a 14-2 league win over Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas record now stands at 8-8.

With the defeat, West Mecklenburg drops to 10-4 on the year. The Hawks host Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Mariners in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 9. The Mariners go into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Jackson Day lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC)
