In Tuesday's league game, the host Nazareth Swifts baseball team scored a nice 30-2 win over the Springlake-Earth Wolverines.
The Swifts (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Petersburg (Petersburg, TX). The Buffaloes go into the 1A Region I District 3 game with a 2-9 record. In their last game, Petersburg was overwhelmed by Crosbyton (Crosbyton, TX), 18-11, in a league game.
Next, the Wolverines play the Crosbyton Chiefs (Crosbyton, TX) in a 1A Region I District 3 game, on Saturday, April 12. Springlake-Earth will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Chiefs go into the game with a 2-8 record after their 18-11 league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, TX).
