The West Lauderdale Knights baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Newton County Cougars to 0 in the Knights league win on Tuesday.

The Knights now own a 20-3 record. They take the field next when they host Newton County for a 4A Region 4 test on Friday, April 11. West Lauderdale will play a Cougars team coming off a 12-0 league loss to West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 12-10.

With the defeat, Newton County drops to 12-10 on the year. The Cougars travel to West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS) to play the Knights in a 4A Region 4 test on Friday, April 11.
