The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Stockdale Brahmas (Stockdale, TX) and the host Nixon-Smiley Mustangs (Nixon, TX), saw Stockdale's baseball team gain a win over Nixon-Smiley by a tally of 14-1.

The Brahmas (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Poth (Poth, TX). The Pirates enter the 3A Region IV District 26 battle with a 16-5 record. In their last battle, Poth was overwhelmed by Goliad (Goliad, TX), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Mustangs face the Luling Eagles (Luling, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 battle, on Friday, April 11. Nixon-Smiley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-15 record after their 15-5 league loss to Karnes City (Karnes City, TX).
