The Rockcastle County Rockets baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host North Laurel Jaguars to 11 in the Rockets non-league win on Tuesday.

The Rockets now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wayne County for a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. Rockcastle County will play a Cardinals team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-7.

With the defeat, North Laurel drops to 4-7 on the year. The Jaguars host Corbin (Corbin, KY) to play the Redhounds in a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. The Redhounds go into the test with a record of 7-5. Corbin won 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY)
