The Potts Camp Cardinals baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting North Panola Cougars to 4 in the Cardinals non-league win on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they host Hickory Flat for a 1A Region 3 test on Thursday, April 10. Potts Camp will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 12-4 league loss to Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 0-18.
With the defeat, North Panola drops to 4-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS) to clash with the Red Panthers in a 3A Region 2 test on Thursday, April 10. The Red Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-7.
