The Sanford Warriors baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting St. Andrew's Cardinals to 0 in the Warriors league win on Tuesday.
The Warriors now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilmington Charter for a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. Sanford will play a Force team coming off a 13-11 league loss to First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE). The Force record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, St. Andrew's drops to 2-3 on the year. The Cardinals host Tatnall (Wilmington, DE) to play the Hornets in a Independent Schools test on Thursday, April 10. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 0-5. Tatnall lost 18-4 in their recent league test against Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE)
