The Southwest Covenant Patriots (Yukon, OK) baseball trounced the host Wayne Bulldogs (Wayne, OK), 8-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Luther for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 11. Southwest Covenant will clash with a Lions team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Hinton (Hinton, OK). The Lions record now stands at 9-7.
With the defeat, Wayne drops to 11-7 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Ringling (Ringling, OK) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 10. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Ringling lost 11-3 in their recent league challenge against Velma-Alma (Velma, OK)
