Colorado High School Volleyball - Coronado tips Sand Creek

April 8, 2025: Colorado Springs, CO 80904

The Coronado Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Sand Creek Scorpions to 2 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to Fountain-Fort Carson for a Pikes Peak 5A outing on Thursday, April 10. Coronado will play a Trojans team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO). The Trojans record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Sand Creek drops to 8-9 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Red-Tailed Hawks in a Pikes Peak 5A outing on Tuesday, April 15. The Red-Tailed Hawks come into the outing with a record of 11-4. Cheyenne Mountain lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO)
