In Tuesday's league challenge, the host St. Francis Spartans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Loyola Academy Ramblers.

The Spartans (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The North Stars enter the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Charles North was tipped by Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Ramblers meet the St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - Blue challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Loyola Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Brother Rice (Chicago, IL).
