The Croatan Cougars lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting White Oak Vikings to 1 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Hanover for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 9. Croatan will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 18-3 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, White Oak falls to 0-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to face the Pirates in a Coastal outing on Friday, April 11. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 6-4. Swansboro lost 10-7 in their recent league outing against Croatan (Newport, NC)
