The Hickory Red Tornadoes lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the host Watauga Pioneers to 5 in the Red Tornadoes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Tornadoes now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Lincoln for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge on Thursday, April 10. Hickory will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Watauga falls to 0-10 on the year. The Pioneers travel to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to clash with the Indians in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge on Thursday, April 10. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 7-5. St. Stephens lost 18-11 in their recent non-league challenge against SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC)
