In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Mauldin Mavericks lacrosse squad scored a good 18-5 triumph over the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights.

The Mavericks (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodmont (Piedmont, SC). The Wildcats go into the 5A Upper District 1 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Woodmont knocked off Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC), 10-7, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights clash with the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 10. St. Joseph's Catholic will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC).
