Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) and the visiting West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC), saw Dixon's soccer squad prevail over West Carteret by a count of 4-0.

The Bulldogs (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Pirates enter the Coastal 3A battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Swansboro tipped Richlands (Richlands, NC), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 9. West Carteret will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 5-6 record after their 9-0 league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC).
