Elkmont Red Devils (Elkmont, AL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL), 6-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Elkmont moves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Tanner (Tanner, AL) to clash with the Rattlers in a 1A-3A Area 8 test on Friday, April 11. The Rattlers come into the test with a record of 1-8. Tanner lost 7-0 in their recent non-league test against East Limestone (Athens, AL)

The Wildcats now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison Academy for a 1A-3A Area 8 test on Friday, April 11. Tharptown will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 4-3 league win over Clements (Athens, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.
