Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), 5-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Monticello advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to clash with the Lions in a Jefferson test on Thursday, April 10. The Lions come into the test with a record of 1-5. Louisa County won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA)

The Bulldogs now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charlottesville for a Jefferson test on Thursday, April 10. Goochland will clash with a Black Knights team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 3-1.
