With the loss, Watauga moves to 5-4 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Freedom (Morganton, NC) to encounter the Patriots in a Northwestern 3A/4A challenge on Friday, April 11. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Freedom lost 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC)
