Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), saw Hoggard's soccer squad triumph over New Hanover by a count of 9-0.

The Vikings (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars enter the Mideastern 3A/4A battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, South Brunswick was overwhelmed by West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A battle, on Thursday, April 10. New Hanover will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Scorpions enter the battle with a 6-10 record after their 9-0 league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC).
